ADDITIONAL IMAGES
Special Pricing - Each gallery includes a set number of images. Often times there are many more images available than what the gallery offers and these may be purchased separately. I do offer special pricing based on the number of images purchased.
EDITING
Edited Digital Images - This editing includes color optimization, exposure balancing, contrast tuning, background extension, minor backdrop cleanup and artistic touch.
Retouched Digital Images - This includes everything in Edited digital images plus, skin retouching, minor body contouring, detail refinement, object removal, color alterations or changes, and head swaps.
-This is available as an add-on option to Edited digital images on a per images basis.

03. SESSION INFORMATION
Family and Child Sessions
FAMILY SESSION: With family sessions, I try and keep it relaxed and simple. I have a work flow I follow, but I'm always happy to mix it up if there are poses you really love that are not in my workflow. I enjoy working closely with you to get what you want, whether the session involves your family running around or all cuddled up. It's really up to you.
CHILD PORTRAITS: This is one of my favorite parts of a session, whether it's the whole session or just part of the family session. My goal is to capture your child's personality by allowing them to be themselves. Those are the memories, as parents, we want. That certain way your child smiles, or that funny look they give you when you're playing. Those are the expressions and emotions I aim to capture. I also ask that you don't tell your child to smile, as that can frustrate them. We want this to be a positive experience for them. I'm usually able to get a genuine smile by spending a little extra time with them. I know, as a parent, we usually have a pretty good idea how to make our children smile. The only issue with this, is that they smile or giggle at you and not the camera. I ask that I am the only one to interact with your child, so I can get them to look or smile at the camera and not off to the side where you are standing. This makes for better portraits.
MATERNITY SESSION: I like to photograph maternity sessions between 32 and 35 weeks. Sometimes babies decide to show up early unexpectedly. These sessions are done on location. You are welcome to bring your family, siblings and dogs too! I also have a client closet for you to choose a gown or two to use at your session, so be to check out The Client Closet. All of the images are fully retouched.
NEWBORN SESSION: This session is recommended to be scheduled between 5-10 days for the best results. Newborns are still squishy and sleepy during this time and go into most poses easily. If for some reason you are unable to come into the studio within that time frame, I do photograph newborns up to 6 weeks of age. If you have a little boy and plan on having him circumcised, I ask that you either plan to have the procedure 7 days before the session or right after the session. Right after the procedure, the newborn will be uncomfortable while I go though my posing workflow, plus there is a risk of injuring the incision and delaying the healing process. Keeping newborns safe is my highest priority. Once you book a newborn session, you will be given a prep guide to help the session go as smoothly as possible.
MILESTONES AND CAKE SMASH SESSIONS: These are fun sessions, but can be challenging to get those smiles. I ask that you allow me get baby's attention only and for you to sit back and enjoy the experience. When parents try and help, it can become overwhelming for the baby or cause them to look away from the camera. Sometimes I do need the parent's help to calm a baby or to get a smile, if that's the case I will ask for help.

STUDIO POLICIES
BOOKING A SESSION
- A signed contract and a $100 non-refundable initial payment are required in order to be considered booked. I have made this as easy as possible and is done all online. The non-refundable initial
payment reserves the date and time and insures the photographer does not book any other session during that time.
- Newborn sessions: Please book this session in your second or third trimester and not after baby is born. I have limited openings for newborns. For the best results, I like to photograph newborns
between 5-10 days old. They are still sleepy and curly and will go into most poses. These sessions are booked Wed - Fri at 10am.
SESSIONS
- The remaining balance of the session is due before the start of the session.
- If the client does not contact the photographer or show up within 15 minutes of the start of the session, it is considered canceled and the photographer has no obligations in regards to the session. If
the client would like to reschedule, they will have to re-book the session and pay another $100 non-refundable initial payment.
- If the client is late to a session, that amount of time is deducted from the session. The session will not be rescheduled, extended or refunded.
- If a desired location is more than 10 miles from my home studio, $2.00 fee per mile is charged.
LOCATION ACCESS, FEES, PERMITS + HOUSE RULES: If client chooses to shoot at a location that charges for access or requires permits, they shall be responsible for all fees associated with shooting there, including but not limited to entrance fees and parking. Client shall also be responsible for organizing access to the location and any permits required for doing so. SPFP is limited by the guidelines of the location. Client is responsible for negotiating deviations from the location’s house rules.
CELL PHONE AND CAMERA USE: The Photographer does not allow other cameras/cell phones, other photographic, or recording devices be used during the session. The Photographer will stop the session until these devices are put away. This is very distracting to the subject/s and to the Photographer. Please answer phone calls away from where the session is being held.
CLIENTS BEHAVIOR: If the photographer feels threatened or is in an unsafe environment caused by the client/s, the photographer has a right to cancel the sessions right then and there. The clients will still be billed for the entire sessions and no refunds will be given.

YOUR QUESTIONS
HOW MANY IMAGES COME WITH A SESSION?
Each sessions has a set numbers of digital images included, but each session has a proof gallery of 30 - 90 images to choose from depending on the session and images I'm able to capture. This give you a large selection to choose from when selecting your favorites. If you are unable to narrow the amount of images down, you have the option to purchase more or all of the images.
WHAT IS THE TURN AROUND TIME ON THE IMAGES?
I return proof galleries within 10 days. This will include a variety of images from the session that have been soft proofed, which means light, color and orientation have been corrected. I will include a few images fully edited to show you what the finished product will look like. You will have 10 days to make your selection. Once I get your favorites back, it can take up to 4 weeks to receive your fully edited gallery, but it normally doesn't take that long. I hand edit each image for perfection.
WHERE DO THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
I have a small in home studio I use for newborns, babies, cake smashes and small children. For all other sessions, I have a few favorite locations I love to use. If you have a favorite, we can use that as well.
DO YOU HAVE MATERNITY DRESSES AVAILABLE?
Yes! I'm happy to say I now have a Client Closet with a wide variety of gowns that will fit a wide range of sizes. I am always adding to the selection, so check back to see what I have to offer.
